A structured environment for getting deep work, done.

You’ll work through The Authority Method and strengthen your business along these lines:

  • Get clear on through-line that connects everything you do into something others can recognise, repeat, and refer.

    You’ll land on your One Big Idea, repeatable message and how all your offers and services connect.

    Your About page, profile, website and socials are all clear and updated. A Hero Piece out in the world.

  • Turn your best thinking into named frameworks and a defined mode of delivery that won’t require you to reconstruct everything from scratch every time.

    Think: IP, frameworks, long-form articles, proposals and repeatable assets. You might be exploring group, hybrid, or digital modes of delivering your coaching or consulting too. This is a natural extension of codification.

  • From demand generation to delivery, you’ll build the systems that grow client demand for your message and frameworks over time so your thinking can work hard for you whilst you stop logging so many man hours.

The Practice, In Practice

Alan had been running his business for over a decade when he joined Ellen’s programme. The work was good. The feedback was consistently positive. Clients coming back.

But in his own words: “Revenue has been unpredictable, mainly because I have never been able to pin down a consistent target market and offering. This feels like it's because I can't state simply what I do. There is a wider offering I can sense, but it feels too woolly and difficult to articulate."

He'd tried to solo-brainstorm his way out of it. It wasn't working.

With Ellen’s help Alan defined his One Big Idea and restructured his offer suite and found language that finally stuck.

This is what he shared in December: "Thanks to this work I have so much more clarity in how I explain my work and talk to clients. Going into Q1 2026 I'm 90% sure I'll hit £30k, which has never happened before. January and February are full and March is filling up, which is unheard of for me so ahead of time. Quarterly 1:1 reseT

The Authority Method removes any guesswork about where to focus next, and how to get there. Learn and follow the steps from a combination of always-on resources, live monthly trainings, and drop in weekly coaching calls for your bespoke questions. You’ll learn both the theory and the application of building a business around a core method, approach and Authority area, that truly scales beyond you.

At the start of every quarterly cycle, you’ll establish your focus & set clear goals and milestones inside your 1-1 coaching and mentoring session with Ellen. Overcome any doubts, fears or resistance, stop the circling, and draw clear lines between the ‘act now’ and the ‘save for later’ items on the to-do list. You’ll get a custom 3-month plan and metrics for tracking.

Depth Days
BODY OF WORK LAB

Protected time on your calendar to actually build your Body of Work. To sit down (virtually) with your peers doing the same and make meaningful progress on the work that deserves your attention. Think, read, write. Create the framework. Depth Days are a staple of The Practice.

You submit your actual Body of Work: a positioning statement, a framework document, a sales page, a long-form piece. Get bespoke editorial or strategic feedback that sharpens your work and makes your next steps simpler. Until they’ve had it, most consultants don’t realise the difference having this kind of direct, bespoke, creative development on their work can make.

How to Join The Practice

As you consider the price of The Practice, consider: what does one more quarter staying where you are cost you? Another three months fully in delivery, with no time left to build the thing that would eventually free you from that equation. Another quarter of thinking that doesn't live anywhere useful (more motion without accumulation).

Another quarter intellectually knowing what needs to happen, yet circling similar decisions, just guessing your most strategic next step, and hesitating, so staying still.

Another season of your best ideas disappearing into private conversations instead of compounding into something visible and lasting.

That's not a neutral outcome. It has a real cost in time, in revenue, and in the slow accumulation of a business that works but doesn't scale.

Your Investment

The Practice is £990 per quarter

(A single better-fit client covers that. A framework that generates inbound for six months covers that. An offer you stop having to reinvent every time you sell it covers that… and keeps covering that).

You commit for a minimum of three months (one quarter). After that, you stay for as many more quarters as you find useful via a rolling quarterly payment plan. No tie-ins, no awkward conversations about leaving. Only stay as long as you’re using The Practice and seeing results.

*The Founding Member cohort is the enrolments in June. Your pricing stays locked in as long as you stay a member. From September The Practice will be £1250 per quarter.

After coaching hundreds of coaches and consultants stuck at the same level I’ve realised it’s not that they aren’t talented. It’s that their next phase requires something different of them. And that’s hard to do solo.

And trying to do this all whilst operating a full practice, without a process or feedback from someone who can see what you can’t. Well, that’s why it doesn’t happen.

I cannot make you ‘good’ at what you do. You have to bring the reps of experience and the authority from years in the field, both before and since starting your own practice.

  • The honest answer is that The Practice is designed specifically for people who are already full which is why the structure does a lot of the heavy lifting for you. You're not starting from a blank page every week wondering what to work on. You have a quarterly direction, a weekly place to bring live decisions, and Depth Days that put protected building time on your calendar. The time investment is real, but it's structured time that replaces the scattered, unproductive thinking time you're already spending solo. We’re not mindlessly adding to your plate, we’re replacing the low-leverage parts of it with something that actually moves you forward.

  • No. The Practice is not a reinvention programme. You're not here to find a new direction or rebuild your business from the ground up. The work you've done is real and it's good. That’s a pre-requisite and what our application filters for.

    Instead what we're doing is giving it a stronger, clearer structure so it starts working as a system. The frameworks you already have get codified. The offers you already have get connected. The thinking you already do gets turned into something visible and lasting. The substance stays. What changes is the architecture around it.

  • It's a hybrid. There's a peer group, but the focus is more on showing up and doing the work, not just discussing it. There's coaching, but it's embedded in a structure designed to build something specific rather than a open-ended retainer. There are frameworks and resources, but they're not a course you work through alone.

    The Practice is built around the idea that most people at your level already know roughly what they need to do — what's missing is the sequenced structure, focused and personalised feedback, and the accountability to actually do it.

  • Because the problem with most programmes is that there's nothing that makes you show up. No one notices if you fall behind. No one gives you feedback on your actual work. No one helps you make the decision you've been avoiding for two quarters. The Practice has all of those things. The weekly drop-in means there's a regular moment where you show up and say what you've done and what's in the way. Editorial clinics mean your work gets real feedback, not silence. The quarterly 1:1 means someone is tracking your progress and will tell you honestly if you're drifting. Structure and accountability aren't a bonus here, they're the whole point.

  • We have a weekly call, monthly training and regular Depth Days to schedule. Everything else is async.

    Your application form filters for time availability as a founding member you’ll have a say on times that work best.

  • You stay for as long as it's useful. After the initial three-month commitment, The Practice rolls with a quarterly commitment cycle. £990 and a 1-1 call to kick off the next quarter. No pressure to stay beyond when it's genuinely serving you. The rolling structure means you keep building at a pace that fits and the continuity will be there for you. In reality, building a cohesive body of work takes longer than one quarter, so expect to make this a long term commitment if we’re working well together.

  • Places inside The Practice are offered on an application basis. To be considered for the founding cohort, apply by July 1st.

    You'll hear back shortly after, and if you’re accepted, we start 13th July.
